Southwest Airlines is offering a Companion Pass giveaway with the purchase of one round-trip airfare for a limited time.
Travel + Leisure reported that Southwest requires online registration and the purchase of a round-trip or two one-way Southwest flight by 11:59 p.m.

Southwest Airlines' vice president of marketing, Jonathan Clarkson, told T+L. "As the airline with Heart, we want our Customers to
feel appreciated for flying with Southwest, and what better way to do that than to offer Companion travel and experiences."
Travelers can switch companions three times during the offer. Companions usually travel free, but taxes and fees start at $5.60 each trip.
Southwest usually gives its companion pass to customers who fly 100 one-way flights or earn 135,000 points in a year. Travelers can earn points by using eligible credit cards
Southwest announced earlier this month that all passengers would travel same-day standby for free, joining other major US airlines.
