Southwest and American Are Bringing Back Some International Flights
Southwest and American Airlines will add foreign flights next month.
Southwest confirmed Thursday that numerous foreign routes will resume on June 7. Returning flights to Los Cabos, Cancun, Havana, Montego Bay, and Nassau
Southwest will restart Phoenix International-Puerto Vallarta service on October 8. All other Southwest overseas destinations will be stopped until October 30.
“Some uncertainty also remains around the return of international demand in the fall, which is why the operating timeline for the rest of

On Thursday, American Airlines restarted Dallas-Fort Worth-Madrid Boeing 787 service.
“DFW-MAD is our first flight to continental Europe since we announced a schedule reduction due to the COVID-10 pandemic in March,”

The airline has continued flights to Tokyo, Mexico City, and London during the pandemic and hopes to steadily resume foreign service in the coming months.
