McDonald's Is Planning to Open 200 New Locations in This Market
McDonald's has 39,000 restaurants worldwide, with 1,000 new openings annually. That level of growth can't last forever, but corporate executives anticipate
European McDonald's restaurants number 630—0.62% of the world's total. Dario Baroni, McDonald's Italy's CEO, plans to open 200 additional outlets by 2025.
"Italy is seen by the group as one of the markets with the greatest potential on a global scale," Baroni added, looking to have over 800 sites
by 2025. McDonald's Italian restaurants now employ 25,000 people, but he hopes to hire 40,000 by 2025.

McDonald's takeout and delivery have increased in Italy. The US market, with 13,450 McDonald's restaurants, is evolving.
