McDonald's announced this month that its popular Double Big Mac will return on Jan. 24. However, the fast-food chain's extra-large burger isn't the only fascinating new item this month.
McDonald's stealthily revived its Strawberry & Crème Pie, its first dessert in 2024. A central New Jersey McDonald's near me had the pie
on the menu on Jan. 15. Allrecipes reports that other customers have seen the pie at select US locations.
McDonald's USA told Eat This, Not That! that the Strawberry & Crème Pie is only available regionally in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City for a limited time.
Strawberry and vanilla crème are cooked in a sugar-coated flaky crust. Allrecipes says McDonald's released the dessert in 2012. Since then, the
fast-food chain has reissued it as a limited-edition. Media reports say it was last accessible in spring 2023.
Customers who've loved the pie for years will adore its fresh iteration. Social media is full with praise for the delectable delight.
"Someone could propose with a McDonald's Strawberry & Crème Pie, and I'd gladly accept," one said.
Some consumers think the Strawberry & Crème Pie is better than McDonald's Baked Apple Pie, which is always available.
