A user posted a Five Guys receipt on X on March 1. The photo showed that a bacon cheeseburger, standard Coke, and small fry cost $24.10 after taxes and a $2.19 tip.
The individual who posted it, @WallStreetSilv, called Five Guys' rates "out of control"—and they weren't alone. The post has 25 million views and 12,000 X user comments
One said, "The only reason I won't go to @FiveGuys anymore," tagging the chain's X account. "Their prices are unreasonable. Local pubs provide cheaper handmade burgers."
Five Guys provides a better fast-food experience than some competitors. Beef is never frozen, ingredients are fresh, and fries are big.
